NH Community Rights Awareness Campaign

NHCRN has supported communities across New Hampshire in prohibiting harmful activities that violate the rights of human and natural communities, through local Rights-based Ordinances (RBOs). RBOs are binding local laws that assert the right to democratic, community self-government - including the right to protect clean air and water.

Education empowers, and NHCRN is committed to grassroots education for residents and their elected officials. The NHCRN Community Rights Awareness Campaign focuses on local community self-government, which is essential to achieving economic, social and environmental sustainability in communities across the state. The campaign will assist in helping protect the rights of all residents, their communities, and natural environments from harmful corporate activities.
