Celebrating Constitution Day and Our U.S. Citizenship
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Our program fulfills federal mandate 108-447 that all schools that receive federal funds hold a program on or around Sept. 17th Constitution Day. It is not federally funded and our program is provided free to the teachers and students. We focus on 8th grade students to coincide with the U.S. education standards in civics and social studies for that grade, which include U.S. Constitution education. We reached 10,000 8th grade students our first year and this past 2020 we reached 200,000. We continue to grow and expand our service area with 16 total states and 1 million 8th graders as our goal for 2021. We have a potential service audience of 6 million students in 50 states. We serve all 8th grade classrooms including public, private and home school student with an emphasis on public schools. We believe by encouraging our youth to know their rights, understand our U.S. Constitution and celebrate our U.S. Citizenship, we will have a more educated and involved population of citizens.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our goal is to reach every 8th grade student in the U.S. in public, private or home school totaling over 6 million students within the next 5 years. We want to create a "rite of passage" into citizenship that imprints on the hearts and minds of our youth as they receive their very own copy of our U.S. Constitution and encourage participation in our form of government when they are of age. Our films and videos will be sources of free resources an inspiration form citizens form all walks of life sharing what the Constitution means to them.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We receive donations from individuals and businesses and are developing a national donor network as a publicly supported organization. Our methods include traveling and speaking to community organizations about our work and developing strategic partnerships with other organizations as well as utilizing databases and social media for online marketing and donor drives. We have gained a large number of elected official and Founders Club Members through our filming and videos featured on our website and are gaining awareness and positive publicity. We are also forming strategic partnerships with other organizations to help with our distribution as we grow.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Our current staff is mostly all volunteers that are experts in their respective fields which benefits our organizations and allows us to complete the tasks at hand. As awareness of our project grows through our publicity and marketing efforts, we hope to hire staff to enable us to grow our program and services. We have formed strategic partnerships with other non-profits, including the National Amvets organization to reach across 50 states and our nation of 8th graders.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We measure our success by how many classrooms, teachers and students we educate about Constitution Day and for 2020 we reached 3 states and 200,000 students. For 2021 we served over 1 million students in 16 states and we are opening our program up to all 50 states for 2022.

- We seek individuals from various race backgrounds for board and executive director/CEO positions within our organization.
- We have community representation at the board level, either on the board itself or through a community advisory board.
- We engage everyone, from the board to staff levels of the organization, in race equity work and ensure that individuals understand their roles in creating culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
