Mission

We are Grass Roots Rescue, home of the perfectly imperfect. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue that prides itself on the fact that we don't discriminate against any dog based on breed, age or medical condition. Our mission is to: Rescue animals from situations that are abusive, endangering or neglectful. Inform the public of these situations in order to help end animal abuse and irresponsible breeding. Provide foster homes for these animals. Provide necessary veterinary care. Promote the importance of spaying/neutering and assist with referrals to low-cost programs. Aid the community through assistance with emergency veterinary care and an animal "food bank" as funds allow. Place rescued animals into permanent adoptive homes. Be a resource promoting responsible pet ownership.
