RESTORE DIGNITY

Healing Resources for Human Dignity

Chandler, AZ   |  www.restoredignity.org

Mission

God in His great mercy wants to heal us if we dare to walk the path. Restore Dignity exists to help people to recover from the spiritual and physical degradation caused by abuse and trauma to reclaim a whole and joyful life rooted in the knowledge of each person's inherent dignity.

Restore Dignity serves those who have experienced trauma directly and those affected by the ripples of such events.

While our perspective and approach flows from our belief in Jesus Christ and the Holy Trinity and our practice of the Catholic Faith, we welcome and respect any person desiring to travel the path of healing.

Grief to Grace - Healing the Wounds of Abuse

Restore Dignity hosts two to four Grief to Grace healing retreats in Arizona each year in English and in Spanish.

Grief to Grace is a professional, faith-based, 5-day program designed to help participants address abuse-related trauma. Through a holistic approach, as well as the Sacramental focus, Grief to Grace truly allows for the whole person – heart, mind, body, and soul – to be healed and renewed.

Written by Dr. Theresa Burke, founder of Rachel’s Vineyard retreats for post-abortive men and women, the Grief to Grace program offers support and healing to those in need. Through multifaceted activities and proven therapeutic techniques, participants learn how to process and resolve their trauma.

Population(s) Served

Restore Dignity identifies experts in the fields of counseling, medical research and therapeutic techniques related to the physical and mental effects of abuse and trauma to provide educational and training seminars for healthcare providers and those serving in pastoral or ministerial care.

These educational programs are also open to the public to help raise awareness and access to information, tools and resources to respond to individuals exhibiting abuse symptoms or those reaching out for help.

Population(s) Served

A facilitated monthly support group open to all Grief to Grace alumni, especially those residing in Arizona.

Population(s) Served
