Mission

Our mission is to reclaim traditional understandings of masculinity and share them with the men and boys in the communities we serve. In sharing the cultural traditions left to us, we can again begin to create communities free of domestic and sexual violence.

Men's Reeducation

The primary objective of the re-education classes is to help men understand how their behaviors directly impact the people around them. We use the Duluth curriculum and traditional teachings around healthy masculinity to help them understand why and how they can change their behaviors. We help men to understand that we all need to be healthy allies to the relatives in our homes and communities.

Population(s) Served

Our main focus is on youth mentoring in the schools and in and around our communities. We feel that our attention needs to be directed toward our young men so that they will grow up with the benefit of knowing how to be healthy, productive and nonviolent men that are allies to women.
