What we aim to solve
Right now our biggest need is repairing the roofs on our building all are leaking badly and need to be repaired or replaced soon. We recently purchased 4 building here in Killeen Texas to run our non-profit we offer 9 programs to assist Sliders and Veteran and these buildings will allow us to do this for the foreseeable future, but the roofs need repair.

Operation Feed out Heroes
The Nancy Miller Food Pantry is one of our services. Through our mission, we’re able to dedicate ourselves to providing food to our active duty, veteran, and first responder families in their times of need. The pantry is open to active duty, veteran, and first responder families on Thursdays and Saturdays 10AM-2PM, unless specified otherwise on our Events page.
Distribution of food is on Thursdays and Saturdays, and every third Thursday of the month is an Open Pantry for our Fort Hood community. For questions regarding any of these options, please contact us here.
*Donations are not required to use our Services, which include the Nancy Miller Food Pantry, but you must be an Active Duty, Honorable Veteran, or First Responder
Operation Re-Supply
Operation Re-Supply is a yearly program that provides backpacks and new school supplies to our community based on the school supply lists from Killeen ISD and Copperas Cove ISD.
We distribute supplies for grades Pre-K through 12th. Each year during the end of the summer, we collect the school supply lists for each grade level based on the Killeen and Copperas Cove school districts. After the supplies have been collected, we then put up a sign-up form for parents and their children to register for this program. Like with our other programs, our Phantom Corps donors receive priority access, while non Phantom Corps donors do not.
Once sign-up has been completed, we arrange the amount of children who need backpacks into separate groups, and then send the parent an email with their distribution date and time. The children MUST be present on the pickup date, and we ask that if the time assigned conflicts with a prior engagement that you please contact us at least a week beforehand so that we can reschedule you.
Toys for Troops
Toys for Troops is a yearly toy drive that works along side Operation Once In A Lifetime each year to help provide toys for our military families over the Christmas holidays.
Each year, Operation Once In A Lifetime hosts a toy drive in the Dallas area, and then donate the toys to us. We will then put up a sign-up form for our military families to sign up to receive toys for their children for the holidays.
Families typically get 2-3 toys per child

Goals & Strategy

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Operation Phantom Support is a 501 {C} {3} non-profit serving Active Duty, Honorable Veterans, First Responders, and their families. Our purpose is to provide soldiers, honorably discharged veterans and first responders assistance with day-to-day support in their times of need.
OPS is the vision of its founder SFC {Ret} John Valentine. Having spent his first 18 years as a dependent, as well as his adulthood in the Army, he has a unique perspective on the challenges faced by those who dedicate their lives to serving our country. Once retired, and given the opportunity to create a non-profit that could help those serving and those who served honorably, he has developed and continues to grow OPS with a variety of programs to serve those in need.
One of the first hurdles he knew the nonprofit would face is the pride of our active and veteran communities. With that in mind, he developed a way every soldier or veteran can be involved by helping each other. OPS ask soldiers and veterans – along with civilians who support them – to donate $20 a month. The donations are then used to maintain the programs, so in effect, we are all helping each other. The creation of new programs is vital in addressing the needs of soldiers whether they are young and still serving or veterans who are aging.
