Los Angeles, CA   |  www.feastforall.org

Mission

FEAST's mission is to promote wellness and enrich lives through the power of healthy foods and human connection.

Notes from the nonprofit

In 2018, in an effort to better express the essence of its programs, which goes far beyond the distribution of "scholarships for groceries," Groceryships officially changed its name to FEAST.

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Wellness & Family Feeding

FEAST serves individuals experiencing food insecurity through the implementation of our 16-week Wellness and 8-week Family Feeding Programs. In both programs, up to 15 participants come together for two hours every week. In each meeting, FEAST Health Educators provide a safe, supportive environment where individuals and families work on relationships with, and belief systems about, food and health. We offer weekly access to food through our Healthy Food Delivery Program and share plant-based recipes that promote healthy eating for the whole family. To create a bigger impact, FEAST trains local health leaders to adapt and implement the FEAST curriculum in their own unique community.
