FEAST

Promoting wellness through the power of healthy food and human connection.

Los Angeles, CA   |  www.feastforall.org

Mission

FEAST's mission is to promote wellness and enrich lives through the power of healthy foods and human connection.

Notes from the nonprofit

In 2018, in an effort to better express the essence of its programs, which goes far beyond the distribution of "scholarships for groceries," Groceryships officially changed its name to FEAST.

Wellness Program

16 Week Wellness Program
FEAST’s core 16-week Wellness Program provides participants and their families with Food
Education, including nutrition information, recipes, and cooking demonstrations, Access to fresh,
whole foods through vouchers to local markets and distribution of farmers’ market produce, and
Support Together through peer-to-peer sharing circles designed to build deep bonds of
friendship and uncover the underlying and often emotional elements of our eating habits.

Population(s) Served

FEAST is launching a new 8-week Family Feeding Series program serving low-income-earning
parents with children ages 0-5. The program is designed to reduce the negative impacts of
stress, depression, and anxiety by providing social support for parents, and to prevent childhood
obesity through healthy food access and nutrition education.

Population(s) Served

In March 2020, FEAST launched our Healthy Food Delivery Program, providing 350 FEAST
