School Garden Program
Grow Some Good (GSG) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating hands-on, outdoor learning experiences that cultivate curiosity about natural life cycles, connect students to their food sources, and inspire better nutrition choices. We establish food gardens and living science labs in local schools and provide resources and curriculum support through community partnerships in agriculture, science, food education, and nutrition.
Since its inception in 2008, Grow Some Good has expanded its programming from one grade level at one school to 35 schools, impacting more than 8,000 students each year. In addition to establishing school gardens, Grow Some Good started building community garden spaces in partnership with local organizations, in order to reach and serve more people of diverse backgrounds.
