Goals & Strategy
Learn about the organization's key goals, strategies, capabilities, and progress.
Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
With the provision of mental health and relationship health literacy programming - our goal is to improve individual self-esteem, increase awareness of when professional assistance is important, decrease stigma associated with mental / relationship illness and broaden individual critical thinking skills in the areas of relationship/mental health wellness.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
With the use of improved analytics, assistance of social media/IT/marketing/program development/fundraising etc. professionals publicize and grow the program. Improved analytics will allow for the more specific creation of targeted content for individual listeners. Also wish to explore income producing options with the creation of clinical material driven by the program topics.
Ongoing search for fundraising assistance to allow for the identification and outfitting of a "permanent" home/studio for MyNDTALK, equipment acquisition, staff development as sited above, Board development, program and supporting learning aids, etc.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Executive Producer/Host has 20+ years experience in radio production as well as 20+ years experience as a practicing clinician
Managing Producer has 20+ years experience in radio production, 30+ years - To date both Executive Producer and Managing Producer have donated time and finances to this project. Now that the project has changed from a weekly to a daily venture and there is a critical need for funding in the areas previously indicated.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
With the decision to move from weekly to daily in 12/2013 - by the end of 2014 - MyNDTALK was incorporated, with a Board of Directors, membership in accredited non-profit organizations, achieved 501 (c) 3 status, created a logo, website, limited creation of marketing materials, developed a daily themed program, and begun to broadcast/podcast in several online/broadcast venues.
Effective September 1, 2018 MyNDTALK became a thirty minute daily program
The ability to sustain and grow the program/product is currently hampered by the lack of sufficient funding and development staff.
