What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Razom for Ukraine, Inc. (“Razom") was born in January 2014, out of a fervent desire to advance the goals of Ukraine's modern citizenry, and finally bring a geopolitically, economically and culturally significant Eastern European country out of its murky Soviet past.

The path from kleptocracy to democracy, however, still remains obstructed by the illegal annexation of Crimea by Russia, a Russian-funded invasion of eastern Ukraine in Donas that has lead to entrenched war and endemic corruption within political and economic spheres of society.

For those fighting, literally and figuratively in post-Maidan Ukraine, slow systemic change and outside aggression has lead to fatigue and increased ambivalence within the populace, threatening to undo the momentum created by the Revolution of Dignity.

Razom's work has never been more relevant.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our mission is to foster Ukrainian democracy and civil society through a global network of experts and organizations supporting democracy activists and human rights advocates throughout Ukraine.

We maintain a relentless focus on the needs on the ground in Ukraine and on the opportunities to amplify voices from Ukraine in conversations in the United States.

By working with civil society in Ukraine and educating the Ukrainian and American public about the situation there, Razom works to ensure a Ukraine that is democratic, free from corruption, and integrated into the global economy.

We are driven by the shared principles of transparency, innovation, experimentation and tolerance with a strong bias towards action.

Our most valued resource is our global network of volunteers. Our volunteers are professionals in their fields who offer this services and expertise pro bono to accomplish the goal of a democratic Ukraine. We have active teams in New York, Washingon, D.C., Kyiv, and Philadelphia.

We have connected people throughout the United States and
throughout Ukraine who have worked together on a variety of
projects that got citizens to be more involved and that made
more voices be heard in conversations around the world. The
post-Maidan generation is emerging, growing and learning. https://razomforukraine.org/about-us/annual-reports/
