Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
It is our goal to expand our scholarships to more young bowlers, and get our organization to the point that it is not reliant on use raising money each year for the next year's scholarships.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We are going to continue to run our annual bowling tournament to raise funds for the organization. However, now that we are a 501(c)(3) organization, we are going to begin contacting companies for tax-deductible donations, both items for our raffle, and cash donations.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We are a very dedicated group, with a large extended "family" that has contacts all over North Texas. We have a great relationship with the local bowling centers and local bowling association. We will use our existing personal and business relationships to benefit the organization.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Each year we have raised more money than the previous one. We currently have enough money in the bank to support more than five years of scholarships, at our current level. This year we doubled our scholarship awards by supporting another youth tournament in North Central Texas. We are in the planning stages of our next scholarship program to determine if we can finance it, yet.
