Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Community Arts for a Cause
Melody of Hope (MOH) exists to support and become an advocate for area nonprofit organizations through the power of music. MOH builds live music programs, concerts and showcases that feature artists of all genres and cultures while focusing on a greater cause. MOH uses these programs to educate and mobilize attendees to extend hope to many in tangible ways for local nonprofit organizations already serving those in need. Our collaborative projects and priorities are based solely on the needs of the community. We want to help provide our support through music programs that are not so easily accessible to nonprofits. Together we realize that we can help target multiple issues that plague our local communities, contribute to the sustainable growth of our city, provide quality musical programming, and contribute to the advancement of the arts in North Texas. As a dedicated arts advocate and community anchor, Melody of Hope is steadfast in bringing quality music programming to every nonprofit event in Frisco, integrating art into the fabric of community life here in our city.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
The goal of these collaborations is to raise awareness while also becoming a voice and advocate for each charity's cause. Melody of Hope's priorities and projects will be based on the needs of the community that provide support to low income families, educational opportunities, spiritual and mental counseling, economic development, health care, job training, support for wounded warriors, and resources to help end sex trafficking
Melody of Hope aspires to bring people together through the power of music. They will help provide the support that is not so easily accessible to non-profits. Together they realize they can target multiple issues that plague the local communities, raise up a network of supporters, and contribute to the sustainable growth of communities and further serve tomorrow's generation.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
This will all be accomplished through music. Music programs and concerts will be the primary way they raise awareness in the community. The concerts will attract volunteers, educate attendees, create sponsorship opportunities, showcase artist on a charitable platform, fuel the marketing campaign, and most importantly, give the community an opportunity to help support a greater cause.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Melody of Hope has been in operations for 8 years now. Our capabilities for meeting our goals are as follows:
-We have accumulated a donor base of around 100 people
-Grant funding from numerous organizations,
- An internal committee group of 13 people
- A board of directors of 9 people
-Over 100 community, corporate, and nonprofit partners
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We have continually grown this grassroots nonprofit from the ground up. We started with 12 people who had no idea what we were doing, we just wanted to help as many people as we could through the power of music. We have successfully partnered with over 20 different nonprofits over the past 8 years and through those we have either hosted or helped with 200 nonprofit events.
Our next goal is to continue to partner with the community as much as we can and continue to help as many nonprofits as our bandwidth allows.

- We review compensation data across the organization (and by staff levels) to identify disparities by race.
- We ask team members to identify racial disparities in their programs and / or portfolios.
- We disaggregate data to adjust programming goals to keep pace with changing needs of the communities we support.
- We employ non-traditional ways of gathering feedback on programs and trainings, which may include interviews, roundtables, and external reviews with/by community stakeholders.
- We have long-term strategic plans and measurable goals for creating a culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
- We use a vetting process to identify vendors and partners that share our commitment to race equity.
- We seek individuals from various race backgrounds for board and executive director/CEO positions within our organization.
- We have community representation at the board level, either on the board itself or through a community advisory board.
- We help senior leadership understand how to be inclusive leaders with learning approaches that emphasize reflection, iteration, and adaptability.
- We engage everyone, from the board to staff levels of the organization, in race equity work and ensure that individuals understand their roles in creating culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
