Faith Work Together
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
The world is broken and desperate for people who know and love like Jesus. College students face many challenges keeping them from fulfilling their calling in Jesus Christ. Over 70% of students entering college leave the faith during school and we believe that is primarily because they are separated from spiritually healthy communities. College students are now the loneliest generation in the United States. Anxiety for students is at an all time high and coping mechanisms have become addictions like pornography and alcohol use. 20% of students have suicidal thoughts and only about 27% of students work in their field of study after graduation. $40,000 is now the average debt of a graduating college student nationwide.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
CoPassion Journey
We help college students discover who God made them to be and actually make a difference. The Journey is an 8-10 week, spiritual growth experience with other young adults while getting a professional internship in Christian community. It is for all 18-25 year-olds. There are four distinct stages of the journey, preparation, kickoff, weekly meetings, and celebration. Each group is about 8-10 students and is facilitated by a certified coach that covers spiritual, professional and missional topics with a context and commitment to the local church. In the end, each student will grow closer in their relationship with God, be able to confidently articulate their special calling in Christ, and live out their faith with more intentionality. Most of our applicants receive sponsorship and scholarships are now available upon request. Ministry expenses vary by coach and location.
