What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Rides for Hope
We provide dependable used cars for low-income individuals and families transitioning from homelessness or to prevent homelessness.
Transitional Support
Our Transitional Services Program is designed to help those who have been living on the streets or in the shelters transition into permanent housing. Some of the services we offer include;
•Temporary Rental Assistance (short-term, while waiting on their housing to be approved)
•Deposit Assistance (for utilities)
•Transportation Assistance
•Job Placement Assistance
•Clothing
•Food
•Personal Hygiene Products
•Furniture & Household Items
•Cleaning Supplies
Group Mentoring
Group mentoring provides the homeless with a new resource to help them cope with their current situation, receive encouragement and find hope that better days are ahead. Mentoring is provided at no charge to individuals and families who are struggling to navigate homelessness. We walk alongside these clients as they transition from homelessness and back into housing--this mentoring can be provided for up to 2 years.
Christmas Wish
Christmas Wish is a program that seeks to serve children and families that would likely receive NO Christmas without our intervention! We wait to accept referrals until mid November (long after all the other Christmas programs have passed their deadlines). Then we only accept referrals from other organizations, teachers, and counselors who have personal knowledge of the child(children's) or families needs. We also ONLY SERVE A FAMILY 1 time through Christmas Wish, to insure we serve as many families and children as possible each year. When you adopt a child or family for our Christmas Wish, you are truly making a difference in a child's life!
Holiday for Heroes
Holiday for Heroes is a special program designed to assist Veterans experiencing or recovering from homelessness or other financial hardships during the Holiday Season. A way for us to #GiveBack to men and women who have sacrificed for our freedoms in their time of need. Similar to our Christmas Wish Program for children and families; The Holiday for Heroes collects the Wish Lists of Veterans in need, and we post them for others (Angels) to adopt and fill their wish-list!
