Mapping the Mangroves

Mapping the Mangroves is a project focused on tracking/mapping the biodiversity of coastal ecosystems and raising public awareness about this vital habitat. The project aims to connect and mobilize a global network of proactive, environmentally-engaged citizens who collect and disseminate information about the world's mangroves. The project’s ultimate goal will be to provide students, educators and scientists around the world with a freely available collection of online materials dedicated to preserving our world's mangroves.
