We help Leaders Thrive
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Presently we are working to address mental health issues such as burnout with clergy. Over the last six months, two pastors committed suicide due to mental health issues. We desire to remove the stigma of shame from having the issue as well as provide opportunities for some R&R, Healing and Recovery.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Healthy Soul, Healthy Life
This program is designed to identify areas in one's life that have lead to unhealthy choices in life. The saying "where there's bad fruit, there is a root problem." We address these areas. Provide tools to help them.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our heart’s desire is to see people be healed from emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual issues in their lives. We long to teach others how to navigate through dark, or merely frustrating times while learning to apply the truth of God’s Word to their situations.
We provide a place of refreshing, refilling and re-energizing for Christian leaders. It is a place of rest and recovery (R&R), counseling and healing to pastors, church leaders, missionaries and Christian artists and their families. The Inn@TheGate Bed and Breakfast welcomes you to come for a weekend to rejuvenate and draw closer to the Lord.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
The Inn@the Gate™ is considered an oasis. The Inn@the Gate™ was created to bring leaders away from the normal day-to-day busyness. We see The Inn@the Gate™ as a lighthouse. Lighthouses reside on a place where the light shines for the ships navigate around the dangers. The Inn@the Gate™ shines in the lives of leaders who have been navigating a busy life. The Inn@the Gate™ continues to be a beacon of hope to the weary soul.
Like the lighthouse, The Inn@the Gate™ directs and helps leaders rediscover their life. Lighthouses can also be a shelter to those who seek its safety. The Inn@the Gate™ Bed & Breakfast continues to be a source of solace and safety when life gets busy.
Nestled on the outskirts of a little town called Crozet, The Inn@the Gate™ offers a peaceful atmosphere. The Inn@the Gate™ is only seven miles from the Blue Ridge Mountains.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
At present, The Inn @the Gate Bed and Breakfast gives us an opportunity to work one on one with pastors and their families. Our goal is to expand this to hosting several families at one time. We have established a core group to include pastoral counselors and a licensed clinical counselor on our team to help facilitate with our goals of healing and wholeness.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
For the year 2019, we have had over 25 clients, some of whom stayed for more than just a weekend to receive help and ministry. The compliment from each individual is there is a peace they feel in the B & B, they have not experienced before or with others.
