What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We are here to assist our Village with the burdens of cancer. We offer financial assistance and help look for recourses. We are 100% donation based. The overhead is less than 1%. No one get a salary. All monies collected go to assisting our villagers.
Now that the pandemic is behind us we can do face to face fundraisers. Our goal is get better year after year.
We are already Planning our 2023 major fundraiser "Screw Cancer 4-Ever"
We have several small fundraisers during the year.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Planning is the key. We are already planning for 2023 fundraisers and contacting potential sponsors.
We start planting the seeds with local business now so we can later reap what we have sown.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Strong volunteer base with some great leadership directing our team. Relying on past experiences and sponsors that continue to support us.
We took two years off during the "Lockdown" Our 2022 fundraiser "Screw Cancer 3" doubled or 2019 "Screw Cancer 2" We are planning "Screw Cancer 4-Ever" for June 2023.
