Fit 4 The Cause works to create a healthier world with fewer barriers to physical fitness and more opportunities for individuals to take control of their futures through improving their health.

Devoting every day to ascertaining its community's health needs, Fit 4 The Cause makes an incredible impact bringing Zumba®, Strength-Training, Tai-Chi, Yoga, Kickboxing and other free community classes and programs into the lives of people who previously had little or no physical activity.

Fit 4 The Cause is deliberately expanding its board presence with medical professionals, providing up-to-date, top-tier wellness curricula for fragile seniors, at-risk youth and special populations with limited motor skills affected by injury or illness. A team of volunteers, medical professionals and fitness professionals provide at least 40 hours a month of wellness education to those in need.

Staying fit, along with perpetual health education, has become essential as we take charge of managing our bodies and our minds. We want to get all populations healthier through fitness lifestyles one move at a time. We make progress by assisting our beneficiaries in smashing physical fitness obstacles.

Fit 4 The Cause nurtures deeper connections between participants and organizations in their community through wellness education. We plan to expand our reach in launching “Fit 4 The Cause 2 Go"—The community's first fitness studio on wheels. This mobile gym will deliver fitness to our community's doorsteps-from in-home beneficiaries who have limited mobility to underserved groups who rarely have the opportunity to enjoy endorphin-induced exhilaration. This includes after school programs, assisted living facilities, hospitals and multiple community partners requesting our wellness education services. We are now serving 1,000 elementary school students at Ocean View School District in Oxnard and expanding to Point Hueneme School district through a very impactful dance fit/physical fitness program. Attendance, focus and behavior have improved significantly reinforced by a teacher, principals, student, parent survey. We are now entering year two.
