Green Apple Garden Playschool

The mission of Green Apple Garden is to nurture each child's need for self-expression and connection to the natural world. We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, with an emphasis on authentic play and spending time outside. We think of Green Apple as one school in two buildings - our infant & toddler program and our preschool and young fives program. Our core practices include muddy and messy play, environmental stewardship, anti-bias education, and creating a feminist workplace.

The mission of Manzanitas Spanish Immersion Playschool is to provide progressive, high quality, Spanish language immersion education that intertwines the Reggio Emilia approach with research-based language development best practices to children ages 12 months-6 years old in the Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti area. Children grow socially, emotionally, and cognitively as well as develop their cultural and language competency. We are committed to anti-bias education, time and space for authentic play, and feminist work practices.
