Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Advocates Christian Academy
We have completed construction on Phase I of the Advocates Academy which will include 12 classrooms, an administration building, library, chapel, event space, kitchen, and soccer pitch. 270 students per session will be able to enroll in the next few months.
Phase 2 will add additional resources to the school, including teachers' housing and a community medical center.
Jesus Film
Jesus Film is a film initiative which takes the message of Christ and other biblical teaching throughout the country of Rwanda. These biblical teachings are shown in several languages native to the area. Our AFA Missionary, Innocent, sets up the video in various locations and the masses come by the droves.
Winners School
We partner with an existing school in Rwanda called Winners School. Winners School is led by our friend, Pastor Safari. We support this school because we know children are being taught Godly principles, proper hygiene, and a pathway to success through general education.
Pastoral Training
Through our training seminars our teachers are training Biblical literacy to rural village Pastors from all over East Africa. Thousands of Pastors are trained in personal spiritual health, family, church growth and doctrine.
Life Center
Through the Life Center program we work with local church and government leaders to identify low income at risk men and women who desire to learn a skill which will provide income for their families.
These individuals learn sewing, soap and lotion making, and handbag making. Upon graduation they are grouped into co-ops and provided the tools necessary to continue producing an income and provide for their families.
Clean Water Initiatives
The 3rd leading cause of death for a child in Africa is linked to drinking dirty water. We want to change that.
We work with the local government officials in the regions we work to identify the greatest need for clean water. Then we help to fund and install clean water sources, including borehole wells, water catch systems, water filtration, and water storage tanks. For around $5,000, we can provide clean water which brings renewed health for entire villages.

Equity strategies

- We review compensation data across the organization (and by staff levels) to identify disparities by race.
- We disaggregate data by demographics, including race, in every policy and program measured.
- We have long-term strategic plans and measurable goals for creating a culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
- We use a vetting process to identify vendors and partners that share our commitment to race equity.
- We have community representation at the board level, either on the board itself or through a community advisory board.
- We help senior leadership understand how to be inclusive leaders with learning approaches that emphasize reflection, iteration, and adaptability.
- We measure and then disaggregate job satisfaction and retention data by race, function, level, and/or team.
