What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Kids' Time
Kids’ Time is the BPS Foundation’s before-and-after school program for Bellevue Public School students enrolled in kindergarten through sixth grade.
Classroom Innovation Grants
These grants allow teachers and staff to obtain supplies, admissions, access to information and other such items which will enhance the classroom and school experience. Grants should foster creativity in the learning process and provide innovative ways to engage students.
Student Scholarships
The Foundation awards eight $2,500 scholarships to graduating seniors to help pay for the expenses of vocational and college educations.
The Foundation also currently manages memorial scholarship funds.
Bellevue Alumni Association
The Bellevue Alumni Association completely supports the Bellevue Public Schools Foundation in its mission to partner with the community in providing financial support to expand opportunities for innovation in education beyond BPS budget parameters.
The Alumni Association focuses on reconnecting BPS Alumni with their classmates, schools, and community and is continually working toward the following goals:
- Building and maintaining a database to assist individual classes with reunion planning
- Sponsoring activities to rekindle friendships between alumni and friends
- Fundraising to provide monetary support toward excellence in education
Playground Equipment
BPS Foundation periodically helps the 15 elementary schools in the district to purchase and acquire needed playground equipment at a cost of up to $35,000. These are matching funds, the remainder is funded by PTA groups and other community support.
