Flight school & The Every Student Flies Program
In-flight training with a certified flight instructor. The Every Student Flies Program, will allow every student in the Aspen Public High School to experience one hour of flight training free of charge. With our added benefits this experience is valued at over 750.00 per student.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Giving high school students a jump on their careers by starting flight training in 10th grade.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We have a 501c3 that owns two DA40 aircraft. Our planes are used to train the students in the Aspen Public High School.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We have a Director of Aviation, a full time employee of the Aspen Public School along with three contract flight instructors and two training aircraft.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
So far we have a created a full training program. One full time Director of Aviation, three contract flight instructors. Two aircraft along with one full motion sim. All of the above allow us to move our High School students though the training needed to become pilots.
Next up, is our new program called Every Student Flies. We will become the first Public School in the nation to give every single student one our of free flight instruction. It will be an amazing year long event!
