What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Reviv aims to support every member of the family of a child that has received a life altering or life limiting diagnosis. We aim to do this by making sure basic needs are met, despite the financial hurdle of hospital admissions and treatment. We aim to address the food insecurity that happens when a parent has to take off work to care of a sick child, and also the price of meals in the hospital to ensure a parent is able to worry about the child, not their next meal. We also aim to address the need for a consist support system both in the hospital and once at home. Every family needs to have someone that can help them with the transition home.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our main goals are to ensure every family refereed to us by childrens hospital is met with their own individual support worker that allows them a safe person to speak to about needs they are experiencing. By supporting this family we hope to lessen the return to inpatient probability that occurs when a family does not have adequate support.

Our strategies are to recruit more volunteers trained in family support to ensure they are well versed in what these families may need.
Also, we are actively working to establish and strengthen community partnerships to grow the support system of these families to those in the community as well.
