Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
OfficerDown.US
We do LEO related fundraisers. You can start one or we can. We're here to help.
Recent tragedies of officers killed in action, and the outpouring of public support as they are reported in the media, have brought to light a problem – there is no easy way for people to come together online to provide the immediate financial support for their families. Many fundraisers require people to drive to a bank to provide a faceless donation, which just isn’t the way to go in the 21st century. So a group of us came together, along with a technology team, to spend the time and money to fix this both now and for the future.
While much press is (appropriately and deservedly!) given to officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, there are countless others who are injured and who also need help as they go through the recovery process. And there are families who need help for years as they continue to piece their lives together. We support all who have served, including their families, regardless of injury and without a time limit. The community is here for you always.
OfficerDown.us is a registered nonprofit with a mission to provide a place where people can reach out to help those who have spent their lives helping others. "To protect and serve” isn’t just a job, and those who dedicate their lives to live by the code are our family. It’s up to us to come together as a "crowd” to support the officers, the families and the departments who sacrifice so much to help others and preserve our community every day, every night.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We expect to close the gap between law enforcement and the community they serve while becoming the #1 used fundraising website for all Law Enforcement related needs!
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We maintain a level of integrity and transparency without having personal agendas, allowing us to pursue our mission of continuing to aid the Law Enforcement Officers of the United States and ensure they know they have national support as well.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
With technology advancing and our knowledge of crowdsourcing, we are able to direct campaigners to areas of greater fundraising success through social media and other sources. We operate with modern technology and a team of individuals who have personal and emotional connections to the overall purpose of helping our country's Officers of the Law.
We have grown within the community through repeated actions of reliability and testimonials of those whose lives we have touched. We continue to grow and stand strong with our reputation.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Having had many challenges within our first year, we continue to grow. We have been challenged by large groups as well as individuals. We have remained factual, genuine, transparent, and motivated. We have earned the trust of many and continue to earn trust based on our conviction to do 'good'.
Although we are advancing, we are still in need of reaching many more people. Our extended reach, without funding, is limited to social media.
We strive to be a household name and known for the positive things we are able to accomplish in and out of the homes of our Law Enforcement Community.
