Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Academic Scholarship Program
Raise funds for and provide academic scholarships to members of Arnold Air Society (AAS) and Silver Wings (SW).
Our short term goals including raising and awarding $6,000 in FY 2015 to be awarded in 2016. We anticipate this amount to grow to $16,000 annually by FY2020.
Flight Scholarships
ASEF will raise money to support a flight scholarship program supporting college students learning principles of flight through flight training programs. Short Term goals include raising and awarding $6,000 in 2015 with growth to $16,000 annually by FY2020.
Internships
Raise funds and award $ to support summer internships for Arnold Air Society and Silver Wings members. Short term goals include raising and awarding $3,000 for internships in FY2015 and growing this to $15,000 in FY 2020.
Leadership Conference Fellowships
Raise $ to fund participation in Arnold Air Society and Silver Wings Leadership Conferences.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Raise at least $50,000 per fiscal year to support funding of academic scholarships, flight scholarships, summer internships, and Leadership Conference Fellowships to Arnold Air Society and Silver Wings members.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Email and mail campaigns to former Arnold Air Society, Silver Wings, and Angel Flight members (alumni) to donate.
Participation in corporate giving programs like Amazon Smiles, Kroger Community Rewards, Combined Federal Campaign, corporate United Way Campaigns, Walmart Community Grants, Coca-Cola giving programs.
Pursuit of Corporate sponsorships
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
ASEF received its Texas Incorporation and IRS Tax exempt approval within 9 months of forming a committee to pursue foundation of a 501(c)3. ASEF has raised over $3,500 within the first 90 days after IRS approval. With dedicated board members and volunteers we anticipate we will meet our annual goals to raise and distribute funds for scholarships, fellowships, and internships.
