Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Our mission is to help small and rural fire department by giving them tools and equipment. These tools and equipment help the firefighters and EMS personnel do their job safely and efficiently. We also aim to help combat occupational cancer in these same departments by donating cancer prevention materials and educational information.

Goals & Strategy
Learn about the organization's key goals, strategies, capabilities, and progress.
Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our organization aims to provide better tools and equipment to all small and rural fire departments in America. We aim to improve each department we come in contact with.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Our strategies for obtaining our goals is to work with the manufactures and distributors of firefighter tools and equipment to negotiate a lower rate for these products and make our donated dollars stretch as much as possible. We work with other fire departments willing to donate their used equipment and find suitable departments for this used equipment as well.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Our organization works hard to make relationships with the manufactures and distributors of fire/EMS tools and equipment at various trade shows and cold outreach. As we form relationships with bigger and bigger companies, we maintain a good reputation within the industry, making it easier to obtain further relationships. Our small team is very dedicated and we are looking to expand more volunteers to help foster these relationships.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Since being founded in 2014 we have helped 14 different fire departments with tools, equipment, and occupational cancer prevention materials. We have also held 6 different educational classes for local firefighters in our Ohio base area and one in Pennsylvania. We have helped several firefighters who have passed away unexpectedly, been injured, or became sick off the job. Our goals for the future is to help more departments, hold bigger educational classes in Ohio and Pennsylvania, and assist firefighters as best as we can. We are looking at expanding two more chapters in 2019.
