NIGHT RUCK RUN

Problem: For a multitude of reasons the Veteran/warrior and the First Responder have gradually become a separate class, increasingly distinct from the public they are and were sworn to serve, protect, and defend.

Solution: In 2014 we initiated a 5k Night Ruck Run on Dania Beach, Florida. All entrants had to carry 10 lbs of rice, that we provided. The rice was collected at the end of the run and donated to Feeding South Florida.

OUR GOAL - Provide a platform that facilitates the connectivity and networking possibilities between those have taken the oath to serve, protect, and defend with those who have not.

#1. VETS AS REFS - There is a dire need by the Florida High School Athletic Activities Association for high school and middle school referees. Prior to the Courage Games, selected veteran/warriors will receive an orientation on the physical, social, and financial benefits of becoming a high school referee and then be processed into the FHSAA official’s program.

THE GOAL - Initially supply to the FHSAA and SE Florida’s youth sport leagues 50 certified FHSAA referees who are Veteran/warriors.
