Nonprofit Spotlights

Out Spotlight program features one nonprofit / social impact organization at the meetings of the YANA chapters, in-person or via ZOOM, and in the YANA National quarterly newsletter distributed to over 8,000 people worldwide.

YANA provides free, monthly webinars featuring Yale alumni experts who present on dynamic and rapidly-evolving facets of the social impact sector. Topics include nonprofit governance issues and best practices, fundraising, use of technology to improve social impact, and other matters important to those involved in the social impact sector.

The YANA-Dwight Hall Summer Fellowship helps to reduce the barriers for financially constrained Yale students interested in pursuing careers in the common good. The Summer Fellowship provides some financial support, introduces Fellows to the YANA alumni network, and provides mentoring, training and other assistance. The Summer Fellowship sponsored its first Fellows in the summer of 2017.
