Share a Smile Campaign

"Share A Smile" - Is created based on the belief that all children have the inner ability to express themselves through the use of art. A SMILE is the purest act of expression. The program was a school wide effort where all the school created smiles and were posted on Pinterest. The winning smile would win a gift card from Michaels Arts and Crafts. & Schools in the Lynbrook School System took advantage an we received over 80 entries.

1st Annual Adel's International Karate Kick-A-Thon on partnership with the Fly A Kite Foundation. Adel’s International Karate - The Kick-A-Thon, is being held in memory of Zachary Bernstein, a 10-year old Lynbrook resident who was a beloved student of Adel's International Karate Center. Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

In 2015

As we move into 2015, we will strive to...
•Continue to raise awareness of the Foundation throughout the pediatric oncology and surgical communities
•Serve as a resource to parents and children from initial diagnosis through end of life discussion, intending to be a source of support and a valued resource through all stages
•Engage local schools and families through creative projects and art shows
•Share inspirational stories of amazingly strong children and families
•Provide access to the medical community, thought leaders and passionate families
•Recognize partner foundations that are complementary to our goals
•Offer the medical community the opportunity to ask for medical funding for research and trials to cure pediatric brain cancer
•Offer a custom art package application which would provide children struggling with the effects of brain cancers customized kits of materials to enable them to create and let their minds soar
•Seek to elevate the power of hope and ensure that families and patients recognize their strength and support them in managing their journeys
