BATTLE 4 CHILDREN CHARITIES
Help Prevent Child Sexual Abuse
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Over 3000 child abuse cases being investigated in Philadelphia, PA alone annually. With limited space for traumatic specific therapy, children aren't being seen quick enough. This problem is not only occurring in Philadelphia but around the world as discussed with one detective from Hampshire, England in the UK where over 2400 cases are being investigated. A child may not see a therapist for almost one year.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Clean Comedy Night
Karen's Place, Doylestown, PA hosts the Battle4Children Clean Comedy Fundraising event annually to help raise awareness and funds. Headliners usually donate their time or request small compensation for the travels and board.
Battle of Christian Bands
Annual Fundraiser brings five Christian Bands/Worship Teams together from across the United States and locally to bring awareness and raise much needed funds for Battle4Children Charities. Each band performs 5 songs which are judged by the audience and 4 celebrity judges. The band with the most points calculated receives 12 hours of recording studio time and a trophy. Trophies are also handed to the remaining four participating bands. Funds raised from the Battle are donated to area hospitals and child advocacy organizations providing trauma specific therapy to children of sexual abuse through human trafficking and other.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Create more therapy space with hopes of closing the time gap that a child sees a therapist. Raising funds to assist children hospitals and organizations that provide such trauma specific therapy will hopefully create that closure.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Create fun and entertaining fundraising programs such as the Battle of the Christian Bands, Comedy Night and Painting with a Purpose, to help bring awareness and raise funds. During our events area organizations who provide such services, as well as victims of abuse, speak on their traumatic experiences and how they survived, and explain how a victim can get the help they need.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We have over 10 volunteers, from it's founder down, who gather annually to make these event happen. Combined with the help of area churches and Christian Organizations, including Hamilton Radio (Robbinsville, NJ) and Souled Out Coffee Houses, Battle4Children Charities has become one of the areas favorite charities.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Our goal for the near future is to put together a Bike, Walk, Run event which will become an annual favorite.
