Programs and results
What we aim to solve
One person at a time, we are addressing the debilitating effects of chemotherapy. We send sets of turbans, scarves and jewelry to women who are undergoing chemotherapy to lift their spirits and remind them of the beauty within and the others around them who care.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We hope to fulfill as many requests as we receive, so that we can provide this positive experience for our recipients. To date, we have sent over 6,000 sets, free of charge, and the requests keep coming.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Through public outreach, social media, partnerships with local organizations and businesses, we have been able to generate enough in-kind and cash donations to keep operating. We have also applied for, and received, some small grants, which have helped. Some students have adopted our organization for their fundraisers and some friends of the organization have chosen us for matching funds. The better we are known in the community, the more donations we receive and the more requests for sets we received. So far, this is how we have grown.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
So far, our organization has relied primarily on our Board and our founder, as well as a few very loyal friends and supporters. Some local businesses are very gracious in their in-kind donations. The more we grow, however, the more we need to actually implement the five year plan we have been discussing.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Our progress is shown by the number of sets we have sent out and the growth in the number of sets requested every month. We are better known in our community and local businesses are offering to have small fundraisers for us. Next, we have to implement the multi-year plan we have been discussing and get some donors to underwrite some of our larger expenses. We would like to spread the work around a little more. That is another to-do. We have wonderful volunteers. We would like to get them some more help.
