What we aim to solve
In research performed by Dove, 6 out of 10 girls are concerned with the way they look, so they tend to opt-out of important activities, such as participating in extracurricular activities, visiting doctors, and even attending school. This anxiety about their looks can keep them from living life to its fullest. In addition, Dosomething.org found that 75% of girls with low self-esteem reported engaging in negative activities, like cutting, bullying, smoking, drinking, or disordered eating. In a study performed by Harley Therapy, there has been an increase of self-esteem issues among boys, with up to half of male students thought to have a low body image. The problem is our children do not understand their self-worth, and it gets worse by generation because of social media and a decrease of positive outlets.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
I Am Beautifully Made / I Am Handsomely Made
In 3 simple phrases: We Promote! We Instill! We Build! Our year-round programs benefit all youth ages 3 and up, from all backgrounds, with a focus on at-risk youth, who normally would not have the chance to attend programs like ours. Through these programs we help build self-esteem, confidence, self-respect, discipline, morals, creativity, character, a sense of pride, conflict resolution, leadership, and self-expression. Our current focus is our surrounding areas, but we have a desire to expand our reach. A few of our highest quality programs include youth leadership, mentorships, art expression, dance, yoga, self-defense, and building work ethics through farm and equine learning experiences. We love what we do and we work hard to provide the best opportunities and enhancements for our attendees.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our goal is to promote, to instill, and to build! We will promote hope and instill positive changes in youth and adults within our community through donating essential resources, volunteering in the community, and hosting empowerment events. This will build a stronger community and a more positive world.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We will meet our goals by providing the highest quality programs such as mentorships, art expression, dance, yoga, self-defense, building work ethics through farm and equine learning experiences, and many, many more experiences. These programs benefit all youth ages 3 and up, from all backgrounds, with a focus on at-risk youth, who normally would not have the chance to attend programs like these. Through these programs we help build self-esteem, confidence, self-respect, morals, creativity, character, a sense of pride, conflict resolution, leadership, self-expression in our surrounding areas with a desire to expand our reach.
The innovation in our program lies within the hands of our youth. We build an ever revolving and evolving program by providing the skills our youth need to become leaders, and then give them the platform to demonstrate those skills by teaching others. Our future mentors will build confidence in themselves to go on and lead their own events (our Youth Leadership). They will also become mentors for new attendees, which will continue the cycle of empowerment, building healthy relationships and growing a more positive and hopeful community.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Camille Bineyard, the President and CEO of the organization, has over 15 years background in Early Childhood Education. Anthony Bineyard, the Vice-President, has over 10 years experience working in technology and marketing. Desiree Gaines, the Chief Operations Officer, and Reginald Gaines, also has over 10 years experience in Preschool development. Camille and Desiree both have worked in various school districts for grades ranging from K-8.
All officers volunteer our time coaching and refereeing, in addition to being mothers, fathers, foster parents, and adoptive parents. We have built long-lasting partnerships with radio hosts, high schools, politicians, chambers of commerce, and more.
Through our combined efforts, we have the experience, patience, tenacity, and passion to succeed in achieving our goals.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
This past year, and continuing on, we have provided dance events, paint events, farm experiences, summer camps, and holiday functions. At one event, we enjoyed the presence of Ed Smith, a former NFL and MLB player, including attending his NBC Sports talk radio show. We also had the pleasure of Jasmine Haynes Coleman, the current Mrs. Arizona, attending and speaking at one of our events. We've been featured in the AZ Informant, as well as, the Glendale LIVING Magazine.
Next, we will continue our path to provide these unique experiences to children, offering more ways for them to express themselves, to learn more about themselves, and to build within them the tools they need to succeed.
