Caring Hearts Pet Therapy
Mission
Our ‘’Caring Hearts Pet Therapy" program is an ALL volunteer (150+ volunteer/pet teams), non-profit charitable organization with current IRS issued 501(c)(3) status. It involves the positive interaction of our pets with adults and children with guidance from our experienced volunteer pet handlers. We serve Dauphin, Eastern Cumberland, Eastern Perry, Lebanon, Northern York and Northwestern Lancaster Counties of South-Central Pennsylvania. Our name truly reflects what our visits are all about: - the "caring hearts" of our dedicated volunteers who share their wonderful pets in our local communities. - the "caring hearts" of our pets who offer unconditional love to all who meet them. - the "caring hearts" of the adults & children.

Pet Therapy
Our program provides wonderful volunteer/pet teams to over 100 locations in South Central Pennsylvania including hospitals, medical centers, nursing homes, retirement communities, veterans and active military programs, rehabilitation centers, youth intervention organizations, schools and libraries, summer camps, courtrooms and community and youth programs. We charge no fee for our volunteer services. During 2019, our volunteer/pet teams volunteered over 9,000 hours providing pet therapy services to our local communities.
