Programs and results
What we aim to solve
We are located in a very rural area. The poverty level is very high, but the heart of people are huge. They always see an animal in need and they don't hesitate to take it in and give it a home. The problem with this is they don't always have the money to get their new pet spayed or neutered. Many may not understand the importance of this simple, very routine surgery. Without it they just keep the overpopulation problem going. More cats and kittens filling the shelters as well as dogs and puppies. Our one county shelter serves 2 counties and is only has 16 kennels, which means the euthanization numbers are high.
