Promote Education through Lacrosse

Annandale, NJ   |  http://www.relaxcollections.org

Mission

We collect and distribute used and new lacrosse equipment to individuals and organizations. The costs of lacrosse equipment should not prohibit a player from participating in the game. A student athlete is more likely to develop responsibilities and attain goals than non athletes. Student athletes achieve better on standardized tests in all subjects and are more likely to graduate from high school than non athletes. We are trying to promote lacrosse and education and to keep the costs of lacrosse equipment from deterring any person from attains these goals.

What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

We have identified sources for acquiring used and new equipment and we have a network teams and organizations that could benefit from receiving the equipment. Our biggest obstacle is the high costs of shipping the equipment around the country and around the world.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our ultimate goal is to get 100% of students around the world the proper education they require to succeed in life. Playing sports has been a proven modality to help students attain this goal. Our organization is determined to help the student athlete gain a paper education through lacrosse.

We are developing our network throughout the lacrosse communities and around the world to make ReLax Collections the source to go to whenever a player, club, or league needs lacrosse equipment to start, develop, or expand the game of lacrosse, especially in the under served areas around the world.

Will Dadouris, the Founder and CEO of ReLax Collections, has been promoting this organization for the past four years. He has received numerous awards and grants from the U.S.Lacrosse, Disney, Do Something, and The Bill Belichick Foundation, to name the most recent.

ReLax Collections has provided lacrosse equipment to teams and organizations around the world, including teams in: Jamaica, Haiti, Uganda, Costa Rico, Canada, Philadelphia, Tampa, Bronx, NY, Baltimore, Las Vegas, and the Lakota Nation in SD.
