Mission

Bow Seat empowers teens around the world to connect, create, and communicate on behalf of our ocean. Working at the intersection of ocean science and arts education, our programs emphasize creative inquiry and making in exploring and protecting our natural environment. Our goal at Bow Seat is to inspire a new generation of ocean stewards who recognize the challenges facing our blue planet and who are motivated to take action. We invest in the next wave of ocean leaders who will think, and act, like artists – looking at issues from new perspectives, posing meaningful questions, and discovering innovative solutions.
