Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Building Hope
Educators of America is mobilizing to end the cycle of poverty, illiteracy, and low expectations for a deserving community in Africa... by physically constructing a school.
Teacher Training
We train teachers across the United States to use tools and instructional methods in ways that increase student achievement.
Building Cultural Bridges
Building Cultural Bridges was developed in partnership with the US Peace Corps Namibia to connect students in the United States and Namibia. Students will write introductory letters to each other during the fall of each school year. In the spring, students will participate in a real time video conference where they will meet each other face to face using advanced video teleconference technology.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Educators of America exists to connect teachers with the training and technology they need to increase student achievement. We also conduct research on both emerging and current technologies to determine their efficacy and impact on student achievement.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We respond to grant solicitations from the National Science Foundation, Department of Education, and state Departments of Education to conduct research and development projects.
We apply to private foundations, collect donations, and accept gifts from the public to fulfill the needs of our "micro grant" program. This program allows teachers to request technology or training items from us and we deliver these items by purchasing them from industry partners.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Each of our founding board members are closely related to either the education or technology industries. We have an office space in Orchard Park, NY and we meet there regularly to discuss the micro grant applications that we receive and also to determine our research and development agenda.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We have successfully set up our business, determined a research and development agenda, have all physical and IT infrastructure in place, and established a 4 member board of directors.
We have yet to receive our first major research and development grant.
