What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Active Life for a Healthy Mind
Active Life for a Healthy Mind is a community activity program that provides opportunities for those in the northern NJ area to safely participate in physical activity among peers. You can find more information about this program and join at: www.TheADI.org/ALHM
RecycleTracker
The RecycleTracker program provides an avenue for unused activity trackers to be recycled and re-purposed to improve the lives of individuals living with mental illness. We accept donations of activity trackers of any style, brand and condition. We do what we can to repair and clean those donations to be distributed to the mental health community. You can find out more information at: www.RecycleTracker.org
Community Engagement & Education
We provide the community with education about the mental health benefits of physical activity and how to get on a path to a more active lifestyle. We cover the the mechanisms that lead to better mental health, the barriers that prevent activity, how to get past those barriers and how to safely prepare and start a new activity regimen.
