What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Pal Mentors
For patients and caregivers, chosen with consideration of your diagnosis and demographics, no matter where you are in your journey
Ask Arthur
Get answers to your clinical questions from retired pediatric surgeon and PMP survivor Arthur
Get Well Cards
Pals from around the world send you cards after surgery, during a challenging time, or to celebrate a survival anniversary
Bare Bottom Bears
Our oldest program that sends you a teddy bear with hospital gown-inspired attire when you need some additional support. Patients love having a Bare Bottom Bear with them when they are recovering from surgery.
PMP Pals Web Site
Provides a wealth of information; you can register for HOPE ZOOM every week, visit the HOPE ZOOM video library with specialist presentations, use our Find a Surgeon map, access our support programs, and more.
PMP Pals Social Media
Find us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/pmppalsnetwork/
and on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/pmp_pals/
Also, PMP Pals is a sponsor of the PMP Support Group on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/groups/PMPAppendixCancerSupportGroup/ where patients and caregivers interact.
HOPE ZOOM
A weekly moderated online meeting with other patients and caregivers. This is a lively exchange of information about treatments, recovery after surgery, chemo side effects, diet, and other topics of interest. Most importantly, we encourage and support each other. Register at the Pals website or Facebook page.
Starter Kits
For those new to PMP Pals, we send several small items that can come in handy, such as hand sanitizer, wipes, and a notebook to track appointments and other information. This is one way we welcome you to our network of patients and caregivers.
