Five powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?

Per Diems Against Poverty is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that reallocates 100% of all donated per diems from individuals and corporations who do not depend upon these funds for food to provide meals for the 1 in 7 Americans struggling with food insecurity. We are fighting for the day when no American goes hungry.

To help do as much good as possible with a small team, we have partnered with Feeding America, the country's largest hunger relief organization. 100% of all donated per diems are directed to a Feeding America food bank of the donor's choice. With more than 200 food banks nationwide, Feeding America is able to help donors reallocate their per diems to virtually any community in the United States.

Partnering with Feeding America helps us ensure that our athletes', actors' and executives' donations stretch as far as possible and go directly to Americans in need. We are proud of the Core Values that help govern our organization:

Integrity.

We conduct ourselves with the utmost integrity and adhere to high moral and ethical principles in both our personal and professional lives.

Frugality.

We uphold frugal business practices and maintain good stewardship of all donations, including time, money, and resources.

Compassion.

We recognize hardship and suffering affecting our fellow Americans and strive to alleviate their burdens while being understanding, respectful, and compassionate at all times.

Transparency.

We value transparency at all levels of our organization and make collaboration, cooperation, and collective decision making a top priority.

Optimism.

We believe in our mission and remain optimistically confident that one day no person in America will go hungry.

Commitment.

We commit all available resources to the fulfillment of our cause, unwavering in our motivation and persistence despite adversity.

We gauge our progress in the number of meals donated.

We spent 2015 laying the groundwork for our charity. Although we were not actively soliciting donations, we were able to provide more than 7,000 meals to Americans in need.

So far in 2016, we've already secured more than 150,000 meals - and we're projecting more than 1 million by June! Our goal is 10 million meals by the end of 2016.

We have began building awareness of our charity among the professional sports leagues and its players.

We have not yet accomplished our goal of raising funds - either through a grant or private donation - to cover our operating expenses. Because 100% of ALL per diems donated by players are given to food banks, our goal is to receive private funding by May 2016 to continue our mission.
