aka IGA   |   Troutdale, OR   |  imagogame.com

Mission

The IGA is a 501(c) 3 non-profit charity founded on the concept of “doing good through gaming”. What do we mean by this? Providing people a place to congregate, game and interact with one another as well as bolstering the well-being of people. IGA’s services and programs also venture to support and develop the gaming community as a mindset and to help others for the betterment of all.

Notes from the nonprofit

We are in the process of a rebrand and change to how we operate local programs in the Portland Metro area where we primarily serve.

Five powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?

The IGA currently provides gaming groups and online gamers a place to congregate and space to play on. We have hopes to expand to local communities and sponsor local tournaments, organize amateur online gaming competitions, spaces to play games at and scholarships to help those studying something that could help further gaming have less of a financial burden in doing so. The IGA became a 501 (c) (3) public charity in January 2016 because our programs support community growth, help to foster community good and because of our purpose to help organize and develop gaming as a whole and help help to handle stress and move forward in their lives.

We want to work with local communities and develop programs locally as well as national and international programs. Our officers have been working their own local markets and nationally to try to find groups to help promote our mission and to further the cause of helping people get access to gaming, game safely and enjoy life more.

We are currently only able to fulfill internet based programs at this time. It is our hope that as the group expands we can start up local programs as mentioned in our previous responses.

We will use attendance at our events and numbers of people using our online services as a measure for success.

We have explained this in our previous responses.
