Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
The primary goal of Eternal Promises is to proclaim, teach, and put into action the many eternal promises of God in Christ, namely the promise and hope of Eternal Life! We are also actively exposing lies designed to mislead and deceive through evangelical apologetics and rational, eternal Truth.
Much of this teaching is done through the daily radio broadcast, however we are personally reaching out to those in need, either spiritual and/or physical, through local gatherings, camps, conferences, as well as one-on-one counseling and discipleship.
While the promises of God are for people of any tribe and tongue, and of every age, we are intentionally reaching out to the younger generation of at-risk children who have been forsaken and abandoned, even abused. This next generation needs to experience true love and hope, only found through the love of Christ, and their loving Heavenly Father.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
From the beginning, our most effective strategy has been to trust in the Lord with all of our heart for Him to establish and increase the ministry reach and efficacy. We are also intentional about providing the US and worldwide community of believers ongoing updates of the work we are engaged in and allowing them an opportunity to stand with us in this eternally important labor of love. Opportunities involve praying for us and the programs, serving in various capacities, giving to support the ministries, and spreading the word to others within their sphere of influence.
We believe that God will bless the efforts of those who serve Him out of a pure heart with pure motives, and that He will draw those who are like-minded to accomplish the mission He has laid on our hearts.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Eternal Promises has assembled a Board with members of proven character, several with proven ministry experience and integrity, and each bringing a myriad of talents to aid the ministry in bringing the mission to fruition.
Four Board members have extensive horse experience (one an Equine professional), two being horse trainers, and four as active ministers of the Gospel.
Concerning the radio and video outreach, two Board members have decades of experience in AV production and new media. Plus we have three Board members with extensive Technical and Web experience.
Many of the Board members have either successfully run businesses and/or non-profits, or served on other ministry Boards.
Additionally, Eternal Promises has obtained exclusive use of two horse camps along with on site instructors.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We have made great progress in the daily radio broadcasts, having expanded our outreach within only 6 months from our local broadcast. And the website has been very effective in communicating our mission and allowing others to receive free instruction and help.
One of the horse ministries, Rockin' Angel Ranch in Kansas, is further along in development and has a fairly active schedule of Hippo-therapy and general horse instruction, always undergirded with spiritual instruction in the Lord Jesus Christ. The other horse ministry, Solid Rock Ranch in Missouri, is still in the developmental phase but is making progress. We are planning to build a ministry center on Solid Rock Ranch, along with completing the outdoor arena by the end of 2017. Both horse ministries and camps are in need of initial and ongoing financial support.
While we have had limited support of the orphanage in Uganda, there are many unfunded areas where we could use ongoing support. While the orphanage opened it's doors in May of 2016, it did so without everything being complete. Sinks, buses, and much more are still needed.
The billboard ministry is ready to be launched. We have billboards designed, but we need the funding to counter the false claims against Christianity.
Lastly, the staff and administration is currently unsupported. The work has become over full-time and we are hopeful for those who will financially support the staff.
