What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Climb for Courage
The Climb for Courage is our experiential learning approach to building resilience in pediatric cancer patients and their siblings. At the Climb for Courage, children are matched 1:1 with a U.S. Navy SEAL. Through the safe and controlled environment of indoor rock climbing, the Navy SEALs induce individual challenges that allow the children to achieve growth through overcoming adversity. The Climb for Courage coupled with the long-lasting friendship formed with their Navy SEAL provides each child with an additional source of strength and encouragement to fight cancer.
Climb Higher, Community Engagement & The Anchor
One Summit's focus is building upon the mentorships created at Climb for Courage through support programs designed to build a stronger community. Yearly we host the Climb Higher program in each market to bring back past mentors and little warriors to climb. Along with 4-5 Community Engagements events and Stories from the Summit series in each market.
To further support the community OS hosts The Anchor, an online / app platform that provide secure year-round programming focused on mentoring, secure communication, health and wellness, mindfulness, education, and engaging entertainment. The platform allows for a safe and nurturing environment for them to connect with their peers. Through The Anchor, we can engage kids and mentors creatively, better reinforce mentor-mentee relationships, and create a lasting community that builds on and thrives between Climbs for Courage.
