Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Poor access to employment and education keep families, specifically mothers and children, deeply embedded in abject poverty in Haiti. By educating boys whose lives were formerly on the street and by providing skills training and employment to their mothers, CLIMB's partner Accolade for Saving Lives is changing lives. ASL has provided small business loans, developed a peanut butter production program, and a sewing program. The young boys in programming will soon begin trade skill education and a food transformation program is being planned for more of the moms to participate in. Physical disability in a developing country such as Haiti is often a sentence to suffering, judgment and death. Through our partner Fondation Tous Ensemble we are changing the stigma by educating the public, giving those with disabilities a voice and confidence to live to their fullest potential. Tous Ensemble is the only measurement to finish prosthetics lab in Haiti and the area's only club foot treatment.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Accolade for Saving LIves
ASL is committed to bringing a better quality of life to homeless kids as opportunities present themselves by knowing God. Through demonstrating the love of Jesus by loving them without exclusion, we can help on e another without discrimination to learn integrity, loyalty, compassion, responsibility, respect, participation and diligence. We look to a time in Les Cayes when these street children can rise and lead themselves to live with dignity, with productive lives beyond their hopes and dreams.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We listen to the heart of the visionary, seeking to know what God has placed on their hearts. CLIMB engages with our partners at the grass root level. It is our desire to network with others that are working in Haiti, to identify healthy organizations that our Haitian partners can work alongside and learn from. Relationship building, mentoring leaders and youth, teaching business management skills, and loving deeply in the name of Jesus Christ are at the heart of CLIMB's mission.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
CLIMB looks to the Haitian leaders of our program partners to identify needs and opportunities to meet those needs locally.
ASL's director desires to educate families in order to provide goods and services that are desired and needed by those living in their own neighborhoods. Progress and sustainability depends upon education both of the youth in traditional school settings and their parents.
ASL has purchased land on the sea with plans to develop beach front recreation, restaurant and hotel services to the area.
CLIMB strives to identify professionals in the U.S. that have skills and resources to bless Tous Ensemble with education, physical therapy equipment, and financial assistance in moving their program forward.
We continually look toward sustainability as each and every decision is made with both of CLMB's program partners.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Prayer, persistence and patience.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
CLIMB partners with local Haitian merchandisers and organizations to meet as many program needs as we can through support of the local, Haitian economy. ASL established a solar back-up system, purchased their first piece of property and has completed construction of a Community Center. Recent land purchase on the sea will allow for business development through beachfront recreation, restaurant and hotel as well as farming. Farming this land will produce peanuts for ASL's peanut butter production program, produce for consumption by program participants as well as for sale to sustain their financial needs.
Tous Ensemble treats 50 - 60 physical therapy / occupational therapy patients every day. In addition they are meeting community education needs through public health education classes and disability awareness presentations. Trust has developed among area hospitals and physicians, with Tous Ensemble being a trusted partner in the medical community.
