Our Mission is to support the self advocacy of people with disabilities for positive impact in our communities and in people’s lives.

Notes from the nonprofit

On June 29, 2022, the IRS issued a Letter of Determination reinstating the tax-exempt status of SAU1 under IRC 501(c)(3). Reinstatement is fully retroactive to the February 20, 2020 date of revocation, as SAU1 has satisfied all prior filing requirements and is now current.
