Thunderbeard Outdoor Restoration Organization
Analysis. Access. Action.
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Some of the most difficult areas to access on this planet are also the most pristine and rewarding. Unfortunately in many cases they are also the most fragile. Human waste somehow manages to infiltrate these areas, even when humans themselves have a hard time following. Thunderbeard realizes the importance of maintaining wild spaces, because it is impossible to find serenity in a natural environment while surrounded by reminders of those who were there before you.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Thunderbeard Outdoor Restoration Organization has an overall mission that involves accessing difficult terrain to perform necessary environmental cleanup and restoration missions around the country. We are highly trained and have experts in many fields of overland and sea navigation. Our immediate goals would be to get our name out and prove our ability, so that government organizations and larger charity groups can confidently partner with us to accomplish these kinds of tasks.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Our first strategy for proving our ability is to build a public profile of accomplished projects and missions. We have team leaders in each segment of our project field putting together a series of ongoing cleanup missions in regions spread across the country. We are also in the process of recruiting talented experts that add to our stable and will help us to accomplish our goals.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We currently have experts in the fields of canyoneering, whitewater navigation, overland offroad navigation, deep sea diving, and mountaineering. We can access most areas in the continental United States, and can assemble a large group of volunteers in a short amount of time.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We have rapidly implemented an effective plan for fundraising and rolling out long term flagship projects that will define our organization. We have reached out to many potential partners who share our vision and our goals, and expect to have many cooperative projects in the short term.
