What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Housing for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities is a significant problem. It is estimated that 180,000 adult children now live at home with parents over 60 years of age. Many of them risk homelessness when these parents die. An estimated 40% of the nation's homeless have intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Living Unlimited seeks to develop housing options for people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

1. Organizing groups of like minded families to purchase and manage housing for those with I/DD.
2. Organizing impact investors to provide housing for adults with I/DD.
3. Developing pilot projects demonstrating financially attractive projects for institutional investors.

Living Unlimited has a credible and dedicated board of directors supported by an Advisory Council and more than 700 families interested in our solutions.

We have established two communities, designed to house 24 residents and 14 residents respectively. These represent proof of concept that will support further such developments.
