Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Disadvantage student household supplemental food distribution
Working with local public school districts, we use food to attract food insecure households with public school students to connect with available resources to help students succeed.
Health & Wellness Farm
Sustainable organic farming feeding and employing homeless camp tenants.
Food Hub tenant Tiny Homes
Simple, efficient, and safe livable 200-450 sq ft dwellings are built on abandoned travel trailer chassis to house homeless working at food hubs. Units will be designed and built to function off grid. Tenants contribute time and effort during the construct and a chance to earn through effort a Tiny Home of their own.
Daily local surplus food pickup and distribution
Seizing the daily opportunities to capture and redirect surplus and wasted food from local institutional kitchens, grocery stores, and restaurants, MFN teams collect and distribute high quality nutritious food to local people trapped in food deserts. Food is an attraction used to connect those underserved with food and other resources serving their needs beyond mere survival.
