What we aim to solve
There is a huge need to rescue domestic ducks and geese. They are frequently dumped at public parks, lakes, and ponds as the general public does not understand they are domestic animals that need food, shelter, and protection just as a pet dog or cat. In addition to rescuing these birds, we educate the public about the dangers of releasing them into the wild.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Adoption
We do our best to rehome birds by adopting them out to safe, loving homes.
Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation of sick and/or injured birds. This includes obtaining necessary veterinary care.
Rescue
We rescue ducks & geese from unsafe situations and allow surrenders from owners who are no longer able to care for them.
Education
We strive to educate the public about the dangers of releasing domestic waterfowl into public lakes and ponds.
