What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Bluff Dale swimming program
Our organization raised funds and paid for the Bluff Dale Prek-1st grade to attend two weeks of swim lessons at our closest YMCA. Our students went for 30 min each day for 8 days. We also helped facilitate the instructor from the YMCA to come to our local rural community and offer swim sessions locally.
Local business restoration
Our Outreach wants to help restore a business in town that is well over one hundred years old. The owner needs assistance with this, and the Outreach believes that local history should be preserved.
Project Christmas 2016
The Outreach provides a full Christmas to a targeted number of families each year. This year we hope to serve 8 families with gifts, food, and necessities to create a wonderful Christmas experience for a few families, and not only provide gifts, but necessities as well.
Bluff Dale ISD Music Program
The Outreach sponsored a dinner and dance to raise funds to purchase items to create a band/choir and fine arts program at Bluff Dale ISD.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our organization is aiming to accomplish a great many things that improve our small community. We want to institute a few programs for the elderly, we focus on our young, and we focus on the buildings that are used to service both of these groups. Improving a community can be done in so many ways, but we feel like focusing on the people in the community is the best way to accomplish our goal of serving our community in the most effective way possible.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Our strategies for making this happen are diverse. We have had one large event thus far that was successful. We have also partnered with a few businesses to complete our next fundraiser in the early fall. Private donations, grant opportunities, and a lot of hard work are how we are going to accomplish our goals for Bluff Dale, Texas.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We have already raised funds three times now to address our goals at that time. Each time, we have exceeded our goal. I believe we have dedicated leadership and volunteers who will work to accomplish the goals we set.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We haven't accomplished our goal of spreading our swim lesson program to neighboring schools. That is hopefully coming, but it will take time.
